SONOVTS realizes the new 24 camera UHD IP OB van for TPC. The 24-camera OB van is being realized entirely in UHD and IP based on the SMPTE ST2110 standard with a redundant real-time IP backbone. TPC opted for a solution in which IP technology from Imagine Communications is playing a significant role. The entire signal processing takes place in uncompressed UHD via the network processors, which are connected to the IP backbone with up to dual 100 GBit. SONOVTS manufactured a semi-trailer with 24 workstations, which has a total length of 16.5 meters, a width of 4.5 meters and a weight of 40 tons when set up with four pull-outs. The project includes the complete design, system planning, body and vehicle construction, interior fittings, electrical and air conditioning installations and system integration.
